Samsonite




Involvement: Content Strategy, Copywriting, Project Managing, Presenting to Stakeholders
Platform: Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Autobahn (Salesforce Accelerator)
Problem: Samsonite needed an updated site with more content, more accessible access to shopping, and could easily educate their customers on their products, services, and heritage.
Strategy: The brand strategy team and I worked closely with the Samsonite team to identify what was and was not working on their content pages. After determining that their content was dated, not engaging, and lacking the iconic Samsonite brand look and feel – we hit the drawing board.
Solve: With many other luggage brands on the market today, Samsonite needed to stand out. While Samsonite is a heritage brand, it lacked a more modern look and feel and frankly felt like a luggage company your parents would shop at. We modernized their content while keeping the user experience in mind, ensuring customers could shop from anywhere on the site. We focused on the aspects that set Samsonite apart – their durability, technology, and the fact that they have been in the luggage business for over 100 years. While the new site feels airy and premium, it also conveys a cooler vibe that appeals to younger demographics while not isolating older, faithful customers of the brand.

I’ve been working at Elva Design Group since March 2022. I work as a copywriter, brand strategist, and content strategist collaborating with UI/UX designers. At Elva I have worked with and had exposure to the following brands: bareMinerals, Anastasia Beverly Hills, MXXY, Metagolden, Laura Mercier, SONOS, Samsonite, Red Kap, and more

Involvement: Copywriting, Digital Marketing Copywriting (Facebook + Instagram ads)



Problem: MXXY needed eye-catching digital ads that would utilize their 3D animated reel. The biggest problem was that MXXY is a reasonably new product on the market, and the customer needed to be educated within a minimal character count.
Solve: For this project I worked alongside the MXXY founders/stakeholders as well as our design directors and strategy director. For this project, I strategized what these ads should look like, worked with the designer to to figure out the flow, and wrote all of the copy within the Facebook and Instagram character count guidelines.

House of Web3

Involvement: Copywriting, Brand Strategy, Content Management
Platform: Shopify+
Metagolden (House of Web3) is a unique company that is selling NFT art tokenized by fine 18K gold jewelry. My role is this project with Elva was to help define the Metagolden brand voice and tone so that it could be used across all of their platform. Bringing my experience from Lulus, I also helped Metagolden create SEO-rich product descriptions that gave their customers confidence in their buying descision.

Involvement: Product Copywriting, SEO writing, Copy Editing, Product Launches, GTM Strategy
As a copywriter at Lulus, I named products and wrote unique product descriptions that were keyword optimized and written with the Lulus voice and tone in mind. I managed all assets for these products in the CMS and their corresponding meta data as well as editing other copywriter’s work before launching. A key element of my job was to manage reporting, teaming up with the photo studio/photo editors/logistics to time when products would have assets ready and be OK’d to launch. I also sent daily reporting to all major stakeholders within the company.
